100 meter from the apartment In front of the house is the town hall. You can see from the window people from the government of Dusseldorf working. Thats the most central located apartment in whole Dusseldorf. In the surrounding area you have a lot of shops, cafés and many bars. Very good is the "Blockhouse" at Kurze Str. 1. A secret hint is the restraurant specialized on pork which is called "Schweine Janes" wat is located at Bolkerstraße 13. Nobody can cook pork like them. Also you can eat great stone oven pizza made with wooden fire what tastes wonderfull. This pizza-restaurant is called "Colopic Ristorante" and is at the street Mertensgasse 5. It is all very close nearby. If you are looking for a supermarket you go to "Rewe City" at Carlsplatz 18. It is also nearby. That supermarket provides good quality and a good choice.
